Review of the Commander V2 Full set

I wanted to submit a review of the Commander V2 Full Set desk I purchases from Studio Desk. First let me state that I really do like the desk. It is spacious and great to work on. It is perfect if like me you need to hold a large DAW mixer and an 88 key controller. There really aren't many options that give you room for both. I love the finishes, the compact footprint, and assembly was easy with the videos they provide. I would absolutely recommend this desk, for the price and build quality alone.

As you can see I did knock it down 1 star in the rating so let me explain. The only flaw with the main desk is the 4U rack spaces. Because of the desk's design, the top rack space is unusable. Just know that if you purchase this desk, you'll be putting a blank panel in the top space because the speaker platforms jet out making it impossible to put anything with knobs in that space. Also, the rack rails they use are not standard rails (for the US anyway) and use a locking nut you pop into the rails to screw your gear into. They are not the easiest to put in, and it also makes the rails wider than normal making some pieces of gear not fit. (specifically I couldn't fit my Samson patch bays with was a real bummer.) They only other flaw I found was a chip in the finish on the top panel of separate rack unit. All in all, a great piece of studio furniture and I really love working on it.

Let us give you some tip which might solve the problem you were saying.
It seams that you installed cage nuts from outside instead from the inside of the rack rail. This might cause the problem you were talking about. Hope this helps.
